Vanillamay started when Jan & I, two long standing friends got talking one sunny may. From day one our partners have joked about us always buying the same things so it was inevitable with this unique unity we would have to do something together that we loved. Jan loves vintage, I love art and we both love handmade gifts made by talented creative people.

Having both been to art college and needing a new creative outlet, with our appreciation for all things Art and Design, we felt ready for the next step. Although we both love designing for our clients and their respective products we thought it would be great to be a little more self indulgent and create things for ourselves and our friends.

One sunny day in May 2005 we came up with Vanillamay. A chance for us to show case some of our ideas and those of our talented friends and colleagues.

We hope you love Vanillamays lovable givable gifts as much as we do. We are adding to the range as and when we source new exciting talent (or manage to take our own ideas to production) so do keep popping back to see how we evolve.
